With respect to buying stuff, Jude articulated his theory to me this way, “Just collect them; don’t reject them.”

Levi asked me to help him write his wish list.  He it goes: 1. Transformers 2. The moon (meaning the Earth’s moon up in the sky)

Jude and his brothers each asked me to get them some chocolate milk this morning.  I distributed the milk obediently.  Jude handed his back and said, “Make it a hot chocolate with marshmallows.  Sorry, but I’m the customer and the customer is always right.”  Oh brother!

When Jude saw me leave the room tonight (on my way to the bathroom), he yelled out, “Emergency!  Mom is on the loose!”  He chased me down and I decided to not go to the bathroom after all.  I tend to have a little train of boys follow me where ever I go.  

Probably inspired by watching Extreme Cheapskates, Jude said, “If we want to save money, we could just not flush the toilet every 27th time or something.”

“I really want some more caffeine.”  (No, we don’t oblige.)

For school today, Jude had to write a thank you note.  With no direction from Andy, Jude chose to write a thank you letter to God. It says: Dear God thank you for my family.  Asher makes me laugh a lot.  My dad is great.  My mom and dad are the best. Love Jude.

I’m pretty happy to report that Jude seems to have inherited Andy’s techie abilities.  Andy has always kept the boys’ iPad games locked so that they could only access them after Andy or I entered a password, but school apps were always accessible.  Well, Jude figured out how to go into Settings and shut off …
