This morning I received a call from Andy’s cell phone. It soon became clear that a little person was on the other end of the phone. The caller pretty much just said, “Hi Mommy, ” over and over and over. I could tell from the little, articulate voice, that it was my adorable 1-1/2 year …

Taking it Like a Man
Last Friday, we had 4 doctors appointments for the boys — a 6 year well child for Jude; a 3 year well child for Levi; a 1-1/2 year well child for Asher and a history and physical in preparation for Jude’s upcoming sedated MRI. I knew Asher was scheduled to get shots, but I didn’t …
Jude’s Quote of the Day
Jude: “Mom, if you throw a banana, will it come back to you?” Me: “No, Jude.” Jude: “But it’s shaped like a boomerang!”
Asher’s Quote of the Day
“Mommy rocks!” (Asher is my most articulate little boy ever. Of course after Andy heard Asher’s new phrase, he tried to modify it to replace “Mommy” with “Daddy,” but Asher wouldn’t go for it.)
Vacuum Trick
The boys have had to spend quite a bit of time sifting through the vacuum cleaner dust to find their sucked-up legos, etc. that now just turning on the vacuum will send them scurrying to the floor to pick up their toys. I’ll have to remember this trick.
Jude’s Quote of the Day

Work Day Protest
I have to admit that I’m pretty popular with my 3 little boys. They are at home with Andy on Mondays through Fridays, but their favorite days of the week are what Jude and I call “stay home days” and what Levi calls “fun days” (i.e., Saturdays and Sundays). This morning as I was getting ready …
Eating my Words
Today after church, our 3 boys were running on top of the chairs and people thought they were just burning off energy. That fact is, however, that our boys simply don’t run out of energy. They keep going and going. While they were running, I was talking to a nice gentleman who was telling me …
Jude’s Quote of the Day
“Mommy, do you know why I don’t want an iguana? They love strawberries and they will eat up all my strawberries. And, they can change colors and then I could never find it.” (Good to know, Jude, good to know.)
