To me while I was trying to talk to him on the phone, “I can’t hear! Asher’s screaming in my face!”
Jude’s Quote of the Day
With his mouth stuffed full of candy, “Mom, I’m having candy. Is that okay?”
(Act first; ask later.)
Jude at the School Picnic
Jude met some of his online classmates today at a class picnic. We almost had a brawl on our hands. One of the 1st graders was picking on another 1st grader. Jude said to the bully, “Hey, stop that or I’m going to use my karate on you.”  The bully said, “I’m in tae kwon do.” The kid who was getting picked on said that he was a brown belt. The brown belt said, “Let’s both get him.” Then Jude rolled his eyes and the situation diffused.
Lucky Oats
This morning I had Lucky Oats cereal for breakfast. No one else in the family will eat it so someone had to. Perhaps you’ve never heard of this cereal. It’s a custom cereal that is only available 10 minutes after I bring home Lucky Charms cereal and the boys pick out and eat all the marshmallows. I was guilty of the same pleasure as a kid so I can’t really blame them.  The day I brought home that coveted box of Lucky Charms, a fight ensued right away. Jude yelled out, “Asher, you can’t only eat the marshmallows. You have to eat the grains.  I’m going to watch you.”
Fooseball Update
I now know why Andy never accepts my challenge to play fooseball. I just beat him 10-0, even scoring my last point from goalie position with Asher and Levi controlling my best kickers. Jude loves to play against me, but he hates losing. I’ll be excited for the day when he is serious competition for me.
Jude’s Arm Pit Tickle Phase
Jude is suddenly always sneaking around trying to get his hand in my arm pit and tickling me until I dig in his pit and tickle him back. Brings me back to my childhood and having tickle wars with my sister.
Levi’s Quote of the Day
About Asher trying to play with him, “I want him to leave it alone. I don’t want to play with him because he always poops.”
Asher’s Quote of the Day
“God[‘s] not letting me have a baby sister.”
Jude’s Quote of the Day
Jude: ‘Can I tell you why I like the word “butterfly”‘?
Me: “Why?”
Jude: ‘Because it has the word “butt” in it.’
