Scan Tomorrow

I’m feeling incredibly anxious awaiting the results of Jude’s brain MRI tomorrow.  Jude and I need to arrive by 8 a.m. to Children’s of Minnetonka.  Afterwards, we’ll pick up Andy and the boys and go to Children’s of Minneapolis to see Jude’s oncologist.  Hopefully she isn’t too late.  She typically arrives to our appointment quite a bit after it is scheduled for us, resulting in inevitable worry that the results are bad, which is causing her delay.  Praying for good results!

Jude, the Hustler

So, Jude is trying to earn some money to buy Skylanders.  He asked me to write him a list of chores to do and the amount I’d pay him per chore.  On my list was 25 cents for vacumming all the crumbs off the kitchen and dining room floor.  He wanted to earn yet more money.  He told me, “I’ll give you a good price.  75 cents for the whole level.”  I took the deal.

Asher’s Quote of the Day

Asher went up to Andy today, showing him the regular toothbrush he had won at the dentist and said, “My toothbrush no spin.  Can you get batteries for it?”  Funny since it isn’t the type of toothbrush to take batteries.

The Never Tired Jude

Jude will never admit to being tired.  But, if he asks to snuggle with me, it’s a dead give away.  Last night he told me, “We’re not going to go to bed, since it’s only 10:29 [p.m.], we’re just going to snuggle.”  Sure enough, I snuggled him right to sleep.
